Ramblin' Thoughts from the week of 4/16/07
This has really been a bad news week. It seemed that every news cast and every phone call was bad news.
Since so many things have happened this week that have touched so many people in our world, in our community, and in our church, it should be a reminder that life on earth is temporary. Even if you live to be 100, it's still just temporary.
Are you sure that everything is ok with your relationship with the Lord? Do you have a personal relationship with the Lord?
Maybe the events of this week should remind us that's the only thing that really matters. What have you done with Jesus who died to forgive you of your sins and bridge that relationship back to God?
I hope you have settled that question and know for sure that you have a relationship with the Lord. The next question is: Are you living for Him so that others will want that same relationship?
Like I started, I know this has been a difficult week so I want to share a Scripture that I hope will be helpful.2Co 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
I don't know about you, but I need an extra boost of sufficient grace today. Thank you LORD.
