What does it mean to be holy?

Focal Passage: Ephesians 1:1-10, 15-19
Life Question: "What does it mean to be holy?"
Biblical Truth: God calls, equips, and guides Christians to be holy and live lives set apart for Him.

Questions discussed were:
What images come to mind when you hear the word holy?
What people come to mind when you hear the word holy?
Do you ever feel holy? Is it on a daily basis or just after a special spirit filled weekend?

Holy means: set apart and demands that one is living according to a moral code and belief system that allows one to be distinct and different from others. That moral code and belief system is built on a relationship with Jesus who died on the cross to take away our sins.

Holiness is not based on merit or hard work, but on our identification (relationship) with Christ.
